LPK JIRAIYA is a vocational training institution in Sleman, Yogyakarta, operated by PT Yasa Insan Bangsa. We run one programme: three months of full-time intensive Japanese training for complete beginners.
Readiness matters more than speed of departure.
Why JIRAIYA Exists
The gap we set out to close.
Many Indonesians leave for Japan with language skills that are not yet solid. The result is often the same: they are retested, or made to start learning again after arriving — while working, far from home, under far harder conditions.
JIRAIYA exists to close that gap. Our principle is simple: readiness matters more than speed of departure.
We want JIRAIYA graduates to arrive in Japan with language ability that is genuinely formed — still at entry level, but a solid entry level.

To be a Japanese-language training institution that forges participants from zero to a readiness genuinely capable of beginning life and work in Japan.
Mission
- To deliver Japanese training intensively and full-time, so the language is practised and used every day.
- To build material in stages with clear targets each month, so participants always know where they stand.
- To assess participant progress at regular intervals against the same measures for everyone, and to record it as the basis for support.
- To train Japanese workplace communication and discipline alongside language ability.
- To maintain teaching quality through preparation and method alignment for our Sensei.
The Name
From an old tale.
The name JIRAIYA is taken from Jiraiya Gōketsu Monogatari, a Japanese folk tale first serialised in 1839 and completed only in 1868 — 43 volumes written by four authors across nearly three decades.
Its hero was not born great. He was the child of a fallen family, raised without inheritance of any kind. His strength came only when he set out to seek knowledge, and was willing to study under a hermit in the mountains.
